The Economist is a British weekly newsmagazine reporting on the global economy, politics etc. The Country Briefings, compiled for 60 countries by the Economist Intelligence Unit, provides extensive economic and political data, as well as links to articles. International Monetary Fund promotes financial stability, international trade and economic growth among its 184 member countries. The website provides country information (with a section on Japan) and a number of publications, including the World Economic Outlook.
