Being A Broad, www.being-a-broad.com. Started in Tokyo in 1997, Being A Broad has already helped thousands of women make the most of their lives in Japan through an active discussion board, a personalized life-coaching service, and a number one best-selling book. Other chapters of Being A Broad are growing throughout the world, starting with online discussion groups covering topics specific to each country.

GutsyTraveler.com, www.gutsytraveler.com, is the website for Marybeth Bond, an award-winning author and editor of nine travel books including 50 Best Girlfriend Getaways in North America (National Geographic), A Woman’s World, Gutsy Women, Gutsy Mamas, A Mother’s World, A Woman’s Passion for Travel, A Woman’s Europe, and A Woman’s Asia (Travelers’ Tales). Ex In The City, www.exinthecity.com, is a lively site for divorced women and offers some excellent short travel guides which they call 50 EX-Rated City Guides, written by women all around the world, "suggesting places that a woman can go when traveling through the stages of EXile, EXpress, EXorcise, EXplore and EXhale."

JourneyWoman, www.journeywoman.com. An extensive website based in Canada which serves to connect women travelers. The site features a plethora of eclectic articles, tips for women travelers, and an online newsletter.

Travel Alone and Love It, www.travelaloneandloveit.com. A free-access site that posts ten new solo-travel tips each month, and is authored by a former flight attendant who has written a book by the same title. The site also provides safety tips, reader recommendations, Q&A, and plenty of resources for independent and solo travel.

Wanderlust and Lipstick, wanderlustandlipstick.com. More than a companion website to Beth Whitman’s book by the same title, it is a community website for women to share and connect with other women travelers. Besides tips and Whitman’s articles, there are a growing number of “Wander Tales” written by the likes of Stephanie Elizondo Griest, Deborah McLaren, and Meg Peterson.
