CCUSA - Camp Counselors Russia
The Russia Camp Program offers people the opportunity to spend their summer volunteering in Russian youth camps. This program offers a great opportunity for American citizens who are independent, adventurous, self-motivated and flexible looking to broaden their horizons through working and traveling overseas. During the 4 or 8 week sessions American counselors learn about Russian life, culture and in return educates Russian children and staff about American culture.

Language Link Schools
Volunteer Programs in Russia
Each year, Language Link Schools of English in Russia open a number of positions to volunteers in the fields of Education, Management and IT. Candidates selected are offered the opportunity to work in a variety of positions such as teaching assistants, English language tutors, educational consultants and student welfare and activities assistants. In certain cases, candidates with appropriate education and/ or experience may apply for placements as translators, interpreters, webmasters, html programmers or project managers.
Volunteer Kotlas
Volunteering in Kotlas is an excellent way to immerse oneself in the culture of Russia and meet Russians who have had little exposure to foreigners. The volunteer works 20-25 hours per week at the school in Kotlas in the Arkhangelsk region of Russia as an assistant to trained teachers, who are native Russian speakers. As part of the program, the volunteer can also attend up to 5 hours per week of Russian lessons.

Neva Childrens Charity
A British registered charity that carries out vital upgrade and maintenance work in run-down children's hospitals in St. Petersburg. Volunteers from all backgrounds are welcomed to help with repair and renovation work (review by Robert Leitch).

Petro-Teach program in St. Petersburg, Russia places interns in state secondary schools and private institutes for 10 months. Deadline for fall departure is mid-March; program fee of $6,000 for the academic year or $825 per month.
