WWOOF-Canada (Willing Workers on Organic Farms)
In exchange for your help (4-6 hours per day, 5-5 1/2 days per week) you receive accommodations, meals, and an interesting and valuable experience. Host farms/homesteads in every region of Canada, East to West . . . over 400 hosts.
Dates: Year round. Most opportunities early spring to late fall.

This nonprofit, ecumenical Christian organization seeks to eliminate poverty housing around the world by building homes appropriate to each area where a need exists. No building experience necessary. The Land Conservancy (TLC) of British Columbia
TLC is a charitable Land Trust with a mission to protect ecologically significant environments as well as properties with historical, cultural, scenic, or recreational value. In picturesque locations across Canada’s westernmost province, TLC offers a variety of 2-day to 1-week “conservation holidays” on eight properties that include small islands, award-winning gardens, large ranches, and ecoforestry sites. For under $160 a week, enjoy socially-rewarding volunteer vacations that include accommodations ranging from tents to cabins and freshly prepared meals and snacks.
